This was a 2nd yr Industrial Design project. This is my concept for a domestic oil tank which I believe solves the issues of a big obtrusive oil tank in small gardens. It has a very low profile which allows it to be used as a plant table with built in sloped drainage to allow spillage of water or oil to flow away and also for growing plants to hide the industrial look of the tank. It has one sloped end to allow easy self filling with a 5 gallon drum so you dont have to order the minimum of 100 euro from an oil company.
